Drive Safely Corporation Europe Limited (DSCE) is a 50/50 joint venture between ClearSky Capital Investments Ltd (CSCI), an Irish registered company and Drive Safely Corporation (DSC), a US Corporation.

DSCE is a technology company whose primary focus is to bring to the European market its recently acquired, patented, anti-messaging technology (AMT). This AMT technology, created and developed in the United States, can and will disable a mobile phones text messaging, email and browsing capabilities once a vehicle passes a specified velocity, set by each individual country. By diminishing traffic deaths, injuries and accidents this technology will not only save lives but will also dramatically improve economic efficiency by reducing drive times consistently throughout the continent. In partnership with Governments, Mobile Phone Operators and the EU, this unique technology will make driving throughout Europe dramatically safer.

The problem is one that is growing exponentially and is recognised throughout the US as one of the major causes of road death and injury. In the US alone last year 6000 people lost their lives as a result of distracted driving, as this phenomenon is known, and over 500,000 were injured. Numbers available in Europe are broadly similar. Legislation is sweeping through the US to ban the practice but police enforcement is virtually impossible. Oprah Winfrey has even featured the topic on the home page of her personal website and is one of the strongest campaigners against texting while driving.

The solution is our unique AMT technology. Unlike its competitors, enforcement does not rely on the user downloading an application to their phone. Using the existing GPS, keyboard and SMS port of the phone, the technology is enforceable by local or state governments in partnership with mobile phone companies. Mobile phone users then pay a nominal charge per month which is divided between the parties above.

With 575 million mobile phone users in 29 countries within our territory and no comparable competitor in existence, the business case for DSCE is exceptional. When the product is fully operational in all countries, revenues are expected to top €500 million euro per annum.
